With his next movie, Maalik, Rajkummar Rao is making a spectacular comeback in a brand-new mafia role. The film's teaser, which features the actor in his most brutal and gritty part to date, was released by the producers. In contrast to his prior humorous performances, Rajkummar's new project portrays him as a heartless criminal.
The highly anticipated Maalik teaser was released on social media by the film's producers on Tuesday. The movie, which is set in Allahabad in 1988, begins with Rajkummar's character waking up holding a firearm.
Then, with blood splattering all over his body, we witness him brutally murder a man with a spade. "Maalik paida nahi hue to kya, ban to sakte hai" (It doesn't matter if we weren't born a master, we can become one) is what he says after lighting him on fire with fire crackers. Rajkummar's transformation into a mafia lord in the harsh underworld is further depicted in the trailer.
Fans responded to Rajkummar's commanding on-screen persona and Maalik's captivating action scenes. "Rajkumar ab Masss Cinema mai Raaj karega" was written by one admirer.

The film, which is being produced by Jay Shewakraman and Kumar Taurani, is expected to be a grim story about betrayal, loyalty, power, and one man's ascent to become the ruler of it all. The movie, which will be released on July 11, will be directed by Pulkit, who is well-known for TV shows like Bhakshak and Bose Dead/Alive.
