Hollywood actor Ted Raimi, renowned for his roles in cult classics like The Evil Dead series and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, has expressed his admiration for Indian cinema, highlighting its distinctive storytelling style and vibrant energy.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Raimi revealed his fascination with Bollywood films, especially action movies that seamlessly integrate music, dance, comedy, and drama. "I love watching Indian films. They are great films. The Indian action movies come with a mix of music, dance, comedy, and action. It is incredibly unique to the entire world. Nobody has that style like you guys do," he remarked.

Raimi specifically mentioned his fondness for the Singham franchise, starring Ajay Devgn as the formidable police officer Bajirao Singham. He recounted watching the film in theaters and being captivated by its portrayal of a "super cop" who balances duty with personal relationships. "I just love Singham and its sequel," he enthused.
Emphasizing the uniqueness of Indian cinema, Raimi noted that attempts to replicate Bollywood's style often fall short. "Even when people try to imitate it, it fails. They fall right on his face. Your film industry and your culture can create those movies better than anybody," he stated.
