The funny teaser for the highly anticipated horror comedy "Devil's Double Next Level," directed by S Prem Anand and starring actor Santhanam, was unveiled by actor Silambarasan on Wednesday.
"Big cheers to @iamsanthanam and the entire team on the grand trailer launch!" tweeted Silambarasan, also known as Simbu, on his X timeline. It looks like so much fun and excitement! I hope you all have a huge success! I'm eager to see it on the big screen.
On May 16 of this year, the film—the next instalment in the wildly popular Dhillukku Duddu (DD) franchise—will be released globally.
The film's antagonist, Selvaraghavan, invites Santhanam, a reviewer, to a special screening of a movie in a theatre he owns at the beginning of the trailer. According to Selvaraghavan, Santhanam's presence will promote the movie that is being shown.
Santhanam visits the bleak-looking theatre. He is transported to the plot of the movie being screened as soon as he steps onto its property.
With a giggle, Selvaraghavan says to him, "Review? How many films would you have ridiculed? Now let's watch you participate in the movie and review it.
The critic soon encounters several of the movie's characters, such as Redin Kingsly and Gautham Menon, who portrays Raghavan, an investigating officer, and tries to explain to them all that they are merely performing.
All of the characters, however, have no memory of their selves and think that the personas they play in the movie are who they are. Apart from Santhanam, Motta Rajendran is the only one who is aware that they are all in a movie because she frequently cracks jokes.
Actor Arya is presenting the massively expensive movie, which was produced by Niharika Entertainment and The Show People.
"DD Returns was a huge success with great response from the audience from all walks of life," director Prem Anand had previously stated in reference to the film. We spent a year writing the sequel's script. Everyone will laugh and appreciate this movie, regardless of age.
The film 'DD Next Level' has cinematography by Dipak Kumar Padhy and music composed by Ofro. AR Mohan is in charge of the film's art direction, while Bharath is in charge of editing.
